Our Story
Linkro was born out of a simple idea: combine real-world expertise with hands-on support to help business owners achieve the outcomes they want without losing focus on running their day-to-day operations.
Linkro was founded by Geoff Hughes, a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry. After building, growing, and profitably exiting his own ventures such as Venn IT Solutions, Geoff saw a gap in the market: too many businesses were missing out on value because they lacked the right guidance at the right time.
About Geoff Hughes, Founder of Linkro
As a Brisbane-based technology founder and advisor, Geoff has nearly 30 years of experience growing and transforming IT service businesses. After early years on the customer side in Sydney, he became a shareholder and Technical Director at Server Central, which later merged with Bridge Point Communications (acquired by Telstra).
In 2015, Geoff co-founded Venn IT Solutions, building it to $10M+ revenue, a team of 25, and a reputation for strong culture and trusted expertise, leading to its acquisition by AUCloud in 2024.
After serving as AUCloud’s Head of Strategic Relationships, Geoff launched Linkro to help technology service providers prepare for exit, optimise for growth, and navigate transformation with clear strategy and hands-on execution.
